Terms

Last updated 4 September 2026. These terms apply unless a written proposal says otherwise.

Quotes

A brief is not a contract. Work starts when you accept a written proposal that names the scope, the price, the live date and the payment split. Quotes are in AUD excluding GST.

Payment

Unless the proposal says otherwise: 50% on kick-off, 50% on delivery, Net 14. Domain, hosting, AI model and telephony usage and stock photography are billed at cost with the provider invoice attached. They are never marked up.

Ownership

On final payment, domain, hosting account, code and content transfer into your name. Until then, Digital Drips holds the work as security for the unpaid invoice. Monthly site plans transfer the code when you buy it out after month 12 at the number agreed on the day you signed.

Scope

Work outside the written scope is a new quote, not an open tab. If a live date is going to move, you hear the week it happens.

Care plans

After the first term, monthly plans run month to month. Give 30 days. There is no exit fee. Handover is documented so another developer can pick it up.

Limitation

Digital Drips is not liable for loss of profit, data or opportunity beyond the fees paid for the job that caused the claim, except where Australian consumer law says we cannot limit that. You remain responsible for the content you supply and for how you use the software once it is live.
